A little about your new editor:

 

Now, I’m just a country chicken, sitting here, pecking out my opinions on the Golden Age of Indie Publishing when I’m not editing your books, but you want to know more than that.  Okay, I was a house painter for 15 years, but it seemed like a complete waste of an exceptional education.  Sometime back in the foggy past, I determined that I’d like to help craft books rather than actually write them, so I hung my shingle, and here I am.

 

I’m married to a wild-haired, wicked-witted jester who makes me feel loved and wanted and needed and beautiful.  His dog purrs when it snores!  We live in a tiny shack rooted in the middle of the Redlands Wildlife Management Area in Northeast Georgia, USA.

 

So you’ve learned a lot about my editing style already; I don’t aim for formal perfection but an imitation of life with all its warts.  While I’m sharing with you, I want you to hear my voice and know not only the meaning of my pretty words but also the nature of the woman who’s writing them.  The same holds true for your characters; I want each to stand out as an individual.  Yes, I will slave over my suggestions to help your stories reach for perfection.
